Lead Teacher


Description

We are looking for motivated, energetic people to lead after-school classes, summer camps and/or birthday parties. Over time, this position may turn into a part-time (20 hours per week) job for any qualified teachers who are interested.

Primary duty is to teach and manage the day-to-day operations of the classes. Additional responsibilities include preparing lessons, controlling inventory and handling logistics while managing assistant teachers and students.

Programs are currently being rolled out in Washington county, Multnomach, and Clackamas county School District.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children ages 4-14
  • Ability to present oneself and one's ideas with clarity, confidence and poise
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Presentation and speaking skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Critical thinking and problem solving
  • Prior teaching experience a plus

Pay

Competitive pay commensurate with experience.

Assistant Teacher


Description

We are looking for motivated, energetic people to help with after-school classes, summer camps and/or birthday parties. The Assistant Teacher will assist the Lead Teacher in different activities associated with teaching Engineering for Kids curricula, managing the classroom and helping children with their assignments.

Programs are currently being rolled out in Washington county, Multnomach, and Clackamas county school district.
